The Monarchs Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the LA Kings ECHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs, is proud to announce the inaugural Hockey for HOPE Dinner, on Sunday, June 12, 2016, at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH, to benefit HOPE for NH Recovery.

The Hockey for HOPE Dinner will benefit the important work of HOPE for NH Recovery. In an attempt to help to battle the widespread and growing addiction epidemic throughout this country, it is our goal to raise in excess of $100,000 at this event. Proceeds from this event will go toward a hard hitting, rapidly increasing public health crisis that is prevalent in the State of NH.

Recovery for people dealing with Substance Use Disorder is one of the major issues facing our country. HOPE for NH recovery’s mission is to support addiction recovery across communities in NH. In fact, a 2014 report from the US Department of Health and Human Services found that NH ranks second to LAST among states when it comes to access to substance treatment for those who need it. Therefore, the main objective is to help the New Hampshire recovery community to become a powerful voice in increasing the prevalence and quality of long term recovery from alcohol and substance abuse.

The Hockey for HOPE Dinner will begin at 5:00 p.m. with mingling, dinner, meet and greets, autographs and pictures with current and former NHL and AHL players, Manchester Monarchs Alumni, and other hockey personalities until 6:45 p.m.

The program portion of the evening will begin at 6:45 p.m. and will include Keynote Speaker, current member of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs Organization and former Manchester Monarch, Rich Clune.

A silent auction, and raffles will take place throughout the entire evening.

This event is open to children, at parental discretion keeping in mind the subject matter during the program portion of the event.
