OK, let’s get this going. Of course, training camp doesn’t start for another 10 days, but the rookie camp starts in three days, and from that point on, I’m sure we’ll be deep into discussions about the Kings and who has the potential to make the team, etc. So I thought I’d take the next three days to preview training camp and look at some of the more compelling story lines, going in. As the prospects show what they’ve got, no doubt this will evolve, but here are some initial thoughts…

What a beautiful Labor Day weekend! Earl didn’t hit us nearly as hard as I thought he was going to and he ended up leaving us with the perfect holiday weekend. I hit up Lake Winnipesaukee over the weekend for one last dip before winter! And what is Labor Day with out some good ‘ole BBQ! Yummy! It was delicious!

Kings Sign Kolomatis To Three-Year Deal

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have agreed to terms on a three-year entry level contract with defenseman David Kolomatis, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
