Mosienko Joins Monarchs From Las Vegas

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have signed center Tyler Mosienko to a professional tryout agreement, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.
Mosienko, 24, has played in 21 games with the ECHL’s Las Vegas Wranglers this season and has recorded 21 points (7-14=21) and 19 penalty minutes. His 21 points rank second on the squad. The 5-foot-8, 175-pound native of West St. Paul, Manitoba, is in his third season with the Wranglers where he has compiled 132 points (47-85=132) and 179 penalty minutes in 156 games since 2006. Mosienko made his AHL debut with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on March 21, 2008. He registered his first two AHL points, a goal and an assist, in his debut against the Worcester Sharks. Mosienko collected three points (2-1=3) and four penalty minutes in seven games with the Sound Tigers during the 2007-08 season. He will wear No. 61 for the Monarchs.
The Monarchs return to the Verizon Wireless Arena for a 7:30 p.m. contest with the Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday, December 19, 2008. The Monarchs will be celebrating the holiday season at Friday’s game. The first 2,000 fans will receive a Max holiday ornament and fans are asked to bring a teddy bear for the annual Teddy Bear Toss.
